Houseleggers
Golden-hour rooftop apéro in Brussels with a Houseleggers DJ set

Private parties — Brussels · Walloon Brabant · Flanders

Private party DJ in Belgium — Brussels, Waterloo and beyond: birthdays, sunset apéros, garden parties and small-scale corporate evenings. Sound and lights included, clean install, neighbours respected — you send the invites, we handle the rest.

The concept

A birthday in your garden in Waterloo, drinks with friends on a Brussels rooftop, the fortieth nobody will forget, a rented villa in Knokke for the weekend: a great private party comes down to one thing — the energy curve. Fifteen years of clubs and festivals taught us how to build it, from the first glass to the last record.

We arrive fully equipped: professional sound sized to your space, a light rig, our own DJ setup and tidy cabling. Nothing to arrange on your side — a villa, garden, terrace or living room is all it takes. We open with lounge and nu-disco, and finish wherever your guests want to go. Then we leave without a trace.

Formats

Three formats, one standard

Every party is calibrated to your venue, your guests and the duration we agree together in the quote.

The short format

Apéro / Sunset

Drinks that slide gently into the night. Deep house, nu-disco and disco edits through golden hour — loud enough to lift the mood, quiet enough to talk.

  • Compact high-end sound system
  • Made for terraces, rooftops and gardens
  • Sets timed to the sunset
  • Lounge to danceable by the end of the set
Most booked

The full format

Soirée

The birthday classic: lounge as guests arrive, a slow build, then a proper dancefloor until the end.

  • Full sound and light rig
  • Energy curve designed with you
  • House, funk, classics, hits — shaped to your crowd
  • Guest requests handled with a smile

The extended format

Premium — Full Night

Two DJs on the decks and a full light show. The club setup, at your place — for nights that were only meant to be “one drink”.

  • Two DJs alternating on the decks
  • Reinforced sound and full light show
  • We play as long as the floor is alive
  • Neighbours and house rules respected

How it works

From your call to the last record

01

The brief

A call: the occasion, the venue, your taste, the do-not-play list. Clear, no-obligation quote within 24 hours.

02

The prep

We confirm the technical side remotely or on site: access, power, acoustics, volume constraints — and where the party moves indoors if the weather turns.

03

The day

Setup and soundcheck before your guests arrive, cables taped down, our rig kept discreet. When the doorbell rings, everything is ready and the welcome playlist is already on.

04

The party

We follow the curve, not a script: lounge while people talk, dancefloor as the energy rises, volume eased back when the venue requires it. You enjoy your guests — we take care of the rest, and we never touch the microphone.

FAQ

What people ask before they book

How much does a private party DJ cost in Belgium?

The price depends on the format, the location and the technical setup. Apéro/Sunset formats start well below the full-evening formulas. Tell us about your party — a precise, itemised, no-obligation quote follows within 24 hours.

How long do you play for?

The duration is agreed together and written into your quote, based on the format you choose and your venue's rules. On the night we stay as long as the floor is alive: if you want to extend, the call is yours, on terms already fixed in the quote.

How do you handle the neighbours?

Methodically. Night-time noise is governed by your municipality's police regulations, and we comply with them. In a garden or on a terrace we angle the speakers away from neighbouring homes, keep the low end under control and agree with you on a moment to move things indoors. Warning the neighbours — or inviting them — remains the best precaution of all.

Do you handle noise limiters?

Yes. If your venue imposes a limiter (common in rented halls and estates), give us the dB threshold: we calibrate the system to it and never trip the cut-off.

Is the equipment included (sound and lights)?

Yes — we are fully self-contained: professional sound sized to your space, a light rig, our own DJ setup and cabling. Wireless microphones are provided if you want to say a few words. All you need is a standard power socket (16A) nearby. For larger setups we scale the system up.

How much space does the DJ setup need?

A stable spot of roughly 2 × 2 metres for the DJ setup, plus room for a speaker on each side. Outdoors, sheltered from rain and direct sun. Small spaces are fine — living rooms and terraces included.

How many guests can you play for?

From 20 to 300 people. Sound and lights are sized accordingly: compact for drinks with 30, reinforced for a garden party of 150. The quality of the set never changes.

Do you travel to Flanders and the coast?

Of course. Brussels and Walloon Brabant are our base — Waterloo, Louvain-la-Neuve, Wavre, Nivelles — but we play across Belgium: Antwerp, Ghent, Leuven, Namur, Liège, and the villas of Knokke and the coastline. Travel is priced in the quote upfront, no surprises.

Do you take the microphone?

No. We do not host: no announcements, no games, no commentary. We mix, and that is all — which is precisely what most of our clients come to us for. If you or your guests want to say a few words, wireless microphones are provided and ready.

Date, venue, guest count, the vibe you have in mind: send us the outline and we come back within 24 hours with a clear proposal.
