What we collect when you write to us, why, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights. GDPR-compliant — and readable without a lawyer.

Data controller

Houseleggers, based in Waterloo (Belgium), is the controller for the data collected through this site. For any question about your data: info@houseleggers.com.

Data we collect

We only collect the information you send us voluntarily through the contact or quote request form:

  • First and last name
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Your event details: date, venue, type of performance, guest count and your message

No other data is collected behind your back while you browse.

Why we use it

This data serves one purpose only: answering your enquiry. Calling you back, refining your brief, drafting an offer and preparing the performance. It is never sold, rented, or used for unsolicited marketing.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time, no justification needed — a simple e-mail is enough.

Retention period

Your data is kept for 24 months after our last exchange — long enough to cover the run-up to your event and any follow-up. After that, it is deleted.

Recipients and hosting

Your data is accessible only to the members of Houseleggers. It is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), a technical processor operating under the EU standard contractual clauses. No transfer to third parties for commercial purposes.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access your data and obtain a copy
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Erasure (the “right to be forgotten”)
  • Restrict processing and object to it
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise them, write to info@houseleggers.com — we reply within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookies by default: no advertising, no profiling, no audience resale. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be set for the site to function — these require no consent.
